Obviously I have the $30/mo unlimited data package. Does this mean only on the VZW Network? Should I disable data roaming to prevent extra charges say I don't have normal service somewhere?
Only if you travel outside the US. 2 days in Canada cost me $50 last week, and Canada's one of the cheapest - if not the cheapest - place to roam. Domestically you're covered by the voice/data roaming agreements that Verizon has made with other carriers.
