Data Saver option disappears, Setup Wizard notification not going away.

So I had recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus after owning an S5 for a few years, and absolutely love it. Upgrading from an S5, I'm still trying to get used to the features of the newer versions of Android I've missed, and am now running 7.0 Nougat.

So to get to the point - for some odd reason, the Data Saver option disappears randomly from the Data Usage option list on my phone. Also, the icon telling me my data is up won't go away, and I've looked all over the phone to find an option to not show the notification. It only seems to disappear when I reboot my device. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forums mate! You have moved from a VW to a Ferrari! You have a steep learning curve ahead of you!
First thing I suggest with any minor bug is a cache partition wipe. That spring cleans your phone and freshens it up a bit. That usually fixes minor ailments.
All app notifications can be set from the notification setting and from within the app itself!
Not sure which icon you mean... If it's those up /down arrows, they are telling you that data is being used by something..
You can limit data usage by the data saver, also inside each app you can allow or block background data usage by the app. With any new phone, I head straight to those settings, data, permissions and make sure nothing is happening that I don't know about. I never allow autó update or synch of any kind either. And to make sure all apps comply, I firewall all data movement and block all apps from ever being online that I don't use...

This is the icon (top left) I was referring to. Thought I posted it along with the previous images lol

Anything on the left side of the notification bar, you can pull down the quick settings and út should tell you what it is...
Like that key icon in mine... When I pull it down, it tells me its the Adguard vpn...
