I am no "techy" but..wanted to see where my "old " evo stacks up with the "new enhancemments" of 3G here are some results:

Download=282 KBPS
upload=484 KBPS

Download=849 KBPS
UPLOAD= 512 KBPS

* I spoke to Sprint today Where I live they "stated" towers are still being updated....

Any update from anyone RE: LTE speaker concerns?

Hi, After completion of the tower update, you check your speed, I checked speed at http://www.scanmyspeed.com/ which gives an accurate result, I trust. And I did a free download of a gadget which is useful for testing speed.

Yeah I live in Westchester and I haven't been able to get decent speeds throughout the areas... 800 kbps sounds better than what I'm usually getting ...

Really cannot wait until LTE goes live in our areas...
