Data usage when tethering with xbox

Just wondering, how much data would be used when tethering your 3g connection to your xbox? Thanks.

Alot, there is a thread about this over in Droid > Roms / Hacking you could ask him how much he used when he did it. Gaming is one of the reasons carriers stopped using unlimited aircards. I work at vzw and from experience I have seen people run through a 5gb aircard cap in a little less than 5 days

Thanks. I just asked him about it. The only purpose of tethering it would just be to test it out and say that I could connect my gaming console online through my phone.

Gaming is only a bandwidth hog if you do so for hours on end. You will only be using between 10 - 15 Kb/s, but it's obviously a sustained rate, which will eventually add up over a multi-hour period.

What game are you playing?
I would say its probably more like 50kb down and 10-20kb up consistantly

Mostly call of duty. Would that use a lot?

d/L netcounter from the market on ur phone and it will count the data that u use in a day, 7 day and month cycle. Use it all the X cause I tether alot.
