Date break issue

Hello -

I'm having an issue with some texts are not inserting a date break. This occurs usually around the midnight hour (see pic). As you can see, the message with the time-stamp of 12:52 a.m. appears under the 9/6 date. I'm using the stock messaging app and I've already tried to clear the cache but the problem still exists. I'm using Android 5.0 on the AT&T Network.

Is anyone else experiencing this or know a resolution for it?
