Day 2 observations

I received my black leather verizon model yesterday and have noticed a few things. The obvious smart settings removal by verizon, LG theme store removed by verizon, the FM radio app removed by verizon. See a trend? These are features that have been completely deleted for verizon versions.

There is a lag with the LG home launcher. Especially noticable on the keyboard. Once I switch to nova launcher, lag is gone. What a shame. I really wanted to be using some of the LG features on their own launcher.

I have the circle case which i love. overall pleased but definitely a little disappointed with certain features removed by big red and the typical laaaagggg with LG

Feeling the same way with my Verizon G4...nice phone but disappointed with the missing features. Also feeling a bit homesick for iOS after having used an iPad and iPhone since 2011. This isn't my first Android phone, but it's taking some adjustment. I'm going to give it a go a few more days but may return it for something else.

I don't feel that bad to go back to apple. haha but I am also not a huge samsung fan either so I guess I am here to stay. I am sure a root will make me feel better.

Very arrogant, if it weren't for their towers/network Verizon would be out of business.

I am pretty sure Verizon removes the FM Radio from all of their phones. I have never really cared, but other removed features become a pain. Any similar complaints from other USA carriers, or did the others ship their versions intact.

That's because most US carriers have their own radio service that uses data and carriers want you to use data and go over your limit. On the other hand they throttle data so you use wifi more. It doesn't even make any sense.
