unless you have a dead or stuck pixel in every application on every screen, then it's a software bug.
you can verify this by using your camera. Identifying the stuck pixel and then closing out of that app and download/use a 3rd party camera app.. you will see the stuck pixels are gone with the 3rd party app.. that means it's a software bug and you DO NOT need to return your phone..
just wait for froyo in a few weeks and it should resolve itself.
