I think this is old news, but I flashed Lego v2 with the VD update and it seems to be working fine.

it wasn't to me, thanks. i was honestly about to do flash it myself to see since there hadn't been a response yet but you doing it first makes me more confident

Just wondering if the pattern lock issue is resolved in Lego V2? It's not mentioned in the release notes...

I believe it is...turned it on and put in false patterns and no crash.

also the browser crash when you push stop hasn't happened either

Ok I am very much a noob. At this point should I be updating to VC and then LEGO ROM? Right now I'm running LEGO ROM on v9. What is the advantage to upgrading? Also working with a mac, not sure if there is a thread about working through the steps to get VC and root again. Any tips or info is greatly appreciated. Thanks to all!!!

Just an fyi I just put lego v2 on and went to donload the stagefright and qcceleration (no lcd change) zip and I get a permission denied error.

A new radio, VD, has been released and it would be better to update to that instead of VC. There were some problems caused by VC that VD seems to have fixed. LEGO ROM is compatible with VC and VD.

The way I understand it is that if you just put on a custom recovery and flash the LEGO ROM, you should be rooted already and wouldn't need to re-root.

For those who were wondering, yes I fixed the pattern unlock bug. All lock screen modes work now.

Nice! but what i was really wondering was when is lego vd coming out?!?

for the person having keyboard problems you have to long press a text box like in messages and go to input method

Check out 2 posts above yours, out works with both vc and vd (I'm currently using vd, no issues so far)

yeah i understand that, i've been running legov2 for a few days on vd. but if thunderom has already been updated i can't wait for lego to be updated!...even if for something that is possibly minor

You should upgrade to vd, vc if no longer the newest release.

Check out the stickies in this forum, it'll walk you through the correct process.

Awesome! On v2 now. Did the acceleration 140. Keyboard might ne too small. I love the way it looks but the keys are justtoo small
