The reboots were caused by overclocking. Revert to a nandroid backup. If you don't have a nandroid backup flash nROM v1.4 patch. It has a boot.img that should set your clock speed back to 600MHz max. What were you overclocking to?

I flashed this rom like the instructions told me to, I got a force close on the LG Setup when the phone booted.

Did you format data before flashing? That does it. Flash v1.2 then v1.4 and don't wipe anything.

Well I flashed ThundeROM to try it first then I was going to flash nROM to try it, so I wiped data then flashed 1.2 then 1.4.

2. Flash v1.2
3. Flash v1.4

Yeah that should do the trick. Sometimes this stuff acts funny when data is wiped.

Awesome thought so. Thank you by the way, everyone in the XDA forum was foreign so nobody was working on anything for the Optimus S. I really like the Gingerbread theme...can't wait for the menus to be fixed. Great work!

Booted just fine, but there is no Settings in the drawer, and when I click setting from the pop-up menu nothing happens.

You are the second person that has happened to. Didn't happen to me. Flash the attached file in recovery.

Ok, I am at work so I have to get something done really quick before I flash that. I will let you know when I have everything up and running. Thanks for responding and helping out. Good to have devs that help out.

Love this rom! ... latest flash looks great .. first time i held power button i got the nice reboot and recovery option.. vary nice ..

now i hold down power and it locks up.. have to remove the batt...

I have the problems with the settings menu also and after flashing your settings zip it still did not work. It won't open the widgets menu after a long press on the homescreen. Thanks for all your hard work enjoying the rom so far

If you have a nandroid backup try:
1. Nandroid backup.
2. Don't wipe anything. Flash v1.2
3. Don't wipe anything. Flash v1.4

But I'm going to release 1.4 as a full ROM package to hopefully clear up problems.

Okay, for those of you having problems, I am uploading a full ROM update now with the default settings app. The modded one was causing problems. Just do not go to Settings -> Privacy -> Factory/Data reset.

So if you are having problems download the new .zip and flash it. If you are not having problems then don't worry about updating.
