Wow. 980 quadrant score without overclocking. The speed it brings up maps or flips through photo albums is amazing. You guys rule. I can't believe this is a $50 phone.

Swype has it. It's on the bottom row on the right hand side of the space bar button. Works fine here. Just sent a message using only speech.

Hmm...I wonder if I did something wrong because I've tried numerous times to use the feature.

Is there a way I could "repair" the swype installation?

Running Titanium backup now. Will try the procedure see if it works. will definitely save about an hour or so. Although I find that by doing it manually u get to really know and learn android

Not necessarily no, but you could always wipe dalvik and cache and just re-flash over top and see what that does for you.

EDIT -Just dawned on me, you didn't happen to delete voice search did you?

No I didn't delete voice search but something must have happened with my initial installation. Before I didn't have quickboot, latitude, gmail, ect. but after your suggestion I have it and the voice search works.

Also if you delete the voice search and re-install it will it break the recognition on the keyboards

Looks like it was a bad flash. Happens. Did you do full wipe, cache and davlik wipe before flashing?

Titanium backup update - worked great. I restored Apps + Apps data and everything seemed good so far. Only issue I ran into was App2SD was confused and marked alot of apps as phone only. Not sure if its titanium backup issue or App2SD issue but so far so good

ok so...apparently i'm a little slow, i read post one and two, i flashed thundeROM 1.3, so even after flashing do i still need to figure out the HW accel and Stagefright hack stuff or did you guys already do that and its already working?

It's done. Run a quadrant. We wouldnt list something in the change log if it meant you need to go out and do it yourself lol, that defeats the purpose of a change log

BTW is anyone else getting "blips" during vid and audio playback? especially w/sprint TV.

Ill check it out haven't really watched any tv listened to a lot of pandora. It could be the edits to stagefright.If that's the case it's very easy to solve.

Nope it wont effect jit in anyway.

I think I found a bug. It's when I use Voice Action.."note to self".. The voice prompt pops up and records per usual. However, upon routing it to the Gmail app, I can repeat a force close everytime. This is a stock rom flash, too. If nobody else has this problem, perhaps I have a bad checksum/download and I can redownload it. Other than that.. GREAT ROM! You guys rule.

Yup, I was just able to duplicate the force close using note to self with voice.
