hi my phone wont connect through the usb cable in usb debugging or usb sharingi tried a different cable and computer with no luck i reverted to v9 rooted put drellisdee's Custom Recovery on my phone made a nandroid back up did a full wipe flashed 1.6 thunder rom updated to zvd then flash 1.8.3 thunder rom now it wont connect to the computer the phone will only charge from the computer connection any ideas on how to fix with out flashing the back up i made or do i have to start from scratch. thanks in advance

I also have had that happen. Also noticed the screen go blank when other person hangs up before me. weieierrrdd.
AMAZING! first ROM I flash and it works perfectly, haven't encontered a single issue yet. (been useing for the past week.)
You could always try making a Nandroid backup of your current system, backing up your apps and settings with Titanium Backup, then wiping factory, cache and Dalvik cache and ref lashing 1.8.3.
That's just an idea if you want to give it a shot. Good luck.

Finally got a replacement for my defective Optimus and of course its getting the thundeROM treatment. I had it for about 4 months on the old phone till it went loco on me. That phone made it as far as v1.5, then i tried 1.8.3 with no luck. Any way, since I'm starting fresh, can u please offer suggestions as far as which custom recovery and kernel to use and/or anything else that u think might help.

Great news! It is the first ROM I flashed on my Optimus. Been using it since Feb and no problems at all. I've consdered other ROMs but I just like this one so much. Like I say...if it ain't broke, don't fix it
wifi connection loss during sleep
I am currently running stock VD. When my phone sleeps it disconnects the wifi, then when I wake it up I have to go in and manually connect the wifi (particularly with my schools wifi).
My question is does thunderom still have this issue.

Go here:
press menu>settings>wireless & networks>wi-fi settings>(press menu)>advanced>wi-fi sleep policy
That should do it.
Could be wrong...but did the flashable item that allows you to wake the screen disappear from the rom? I recently had to re-root and install T-ROM due to a replacement for a flaky phone and I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it's in there anymore...

Beezy and myself will no longer be supporting or updating ThundeROM. While it was a hard decision to part with the "brand", we feel we are doing it for the right reasons. You can continue to download and use ThundeROM with the understanding that the code will not be updated.
With that said, the reason we have decided to leave ThundeROM is because a new project has formed involving Beezy, KSmithInNY, and Nick7. This new project has taken the best of LEGO ROM, the best of nROM, and the best of ThundeROM and put them together. We feel it does more justice for the community to have all 3 of us developers working on a common ROM with a common goal as opposed to us constantly battling and essentially chasing our tails. Since forming this team, we have already accomplished some things all of us wanted to do, but were having issues with the execution. This also helps us 3 maintain a better android/real life balance.
If you'd like to continue using ThundeROM you're more than welcome to. But, if you'd like to try something different, I'd encourage you to see our new work.

You need VD radio, you don't have it. Also, you need to be flashing a ROM that is still supported. Check out "Nameless v1" rom in this forum.
So and not that I'm complaining but when you install this ROM all of your apps and such go away? Or am I totally missing something here?
Yup, that's what happens when you do a full wipe. And that's what's recommended to install a new rom.
A backup utility such is titanium backup, works wonders for reinstalling your apps.
