Some of the best deals I've gotten through the years have been from best buy. In particular, years ago I got the Gear S3 (3G version) for only $1 if I activated a line of service with my carrier. It was only $5/mo for the service x 2 years, so I technically paid $120 if you looked at it from the worst case perspective.

My only gripe when I would get new devices from BB is that they would insist on unboxing and holding my new precious gem for the setup

This is definitely a great deal with no trade in though. I think it's a 3-day so it should probably be dropping soon by Wednesday I think..

Amazon has a 1 day deal on the unlocked Z Fold 3! $1,349 or $1,499 for the 512gb! Great price but today only. I assume tonight the price will go back up to $1,499 for to 256gb model.

VERY tempting BUT the S22 Ultra via the FCC certification has the SPEN BUILT in basically it's the new Note and it will release in two months so I likely won't be jumping on this.

You can also trade in with this deal. Just did and I am getting my 512 fold 3 for $874. I have been debating between a Pixel 6 pro and the Fold 3. This deal pushed me over the edge. Not to mention the free Samsung Galaxy Buds2. Not that I would have purchased them, but I can always use them as a gift.

I am a note user since note 4. But honestly, I seldom use the spen. Only on occasions I need to sign something or to jot down notes. Using the fold 3, if you don't need the precision using finger to write is workable because it has a big screen to write on. If you use the pen a lot, the tiny note pen is not ideal also. You can get a case with a pen slot for fold 3.

What I'm trying to say is the note silo pen slot should not be a critical factor in eliminating fold 3. You go for s22 ultra because of better camera and cheaper.

Btw: I wish we have those great deals you got over there (in US). At least price becomes less of a factor.

I bought the Samsung case with the SPen. I really like the case and the SPen holder. I had the sview case on my Note 10+, this case has a very similar feel to me. I like the larger pen. Not sure I have a lot of need for my 10 inch Note tablet.

Like you my first Note phone was the 4, before that I bought a 8 inch Note tablet. I do use the SPen a lot and find it very helpful.

Yeah, the display at Best Buy.

The only thing that's still giving me pause is the screen repair process - there are five UBreakIFix locations near me. Looks like they will fix the display same-day. Will they also fix the screen protector if it gets damaged? Also, Best Buy does same-day repairs too.

I don't want to open the device one day in a few months and have a crack go up and down the middle of the phone and have to pay $500 to get it fixed.

I've had mine since pre-order no issues, I remember some post awhile ago in the forums where screen protector had to be replaced and it was covered as long as you don't damage it they give the normal 1year warranty.

Looks like the Best Buy deal on the unlocked Fold 3 is over. Glad I jumped on the deal. The options were kind of weird depending on how you went in. I received free ear buds and was able to trade in my phone. Later the trade in options seemed to come and go. Really happy with the deal I received.
