Debranding the S5

[AC Question]

The S5 I just bought from Germany appears to have O2 branded software as there's a folder called 'O2 tipps' in the apps folder. Do I have to debrand it to get OTA updates (I won't be using an O2 SIM card). If so, can you please guide me on how to go about debranding it? Thanks
