December security patch rolling out

How's app management in the background after the update? I'm not seeing much difference. Not sure if it's the battery management that Google does that makes it different than on my Note or if it's still needing some level of attention still.

I'm seeing less app reloading from recent apps that are open excluding those that have to reload for security reasons or updates.

I'm thinking this might be the case and it's just a issue of things that reload get blamed since you're used to all of them reloading. Lol

what I'm noticing so far is if I go into developer options and click on running services, I have consistently 1.6/1.7gb free. Before update, and granted it's been less than a day, I was seeing 1.2 - 1.5gb free on average. I only really saw higher than that after a reboot, which I do occasionally as old habits die hard.
This may be nothing and I haven't really had the chance to see what this does with my everyday use, but I'll pay a little more attention when multi tasking.

Sounds about right, that's where mine is usually

Everything good for me so far. (except): Last night I was playing a game (Into the Dead 2), and all of a sudden, I got a Nest Notification for my doorbell, and .... ......
......
My phone shut off. Completely dead. Good thing I just pressed the power button and it started back up.
Not that this has to do with the update, but interesting phenomenon.

I never was aware of that setting - checked mine - 2.2GB free - I am a very light user.

There were definitely apps that closed in the past prematurely. It never really impacted me except for apps where I was typing text into that I would come back to and lose my work.

I gotta check my Settings app for the update when I get home from work tonight!

Then drink more!:p I mean, that's what we do when the security update comes out, right? Is that not a AC Forum group activity?:D

That's what I'm doing tonight as I just got the update, woo hoo!

Interesting, seems they fixed that "non-existent" Memory issue and the "non-existent" camera capture issue.

Nice one Google.
