December security patch rolling out

Interesting, seems they fixed that "non-existent" Memory issue and the "non-existent" camera capture issue.

Nice one Google.

Who said non-existent? I recall Google saying they would address it and people noticing it.

Are you quoting something? Or just taking not all people seeing the issue as if it was an official statement? You def. don't do that for Samsung so I would be shocked you would for Google. :)

Nice one Google.

With regard to the memory issue it was a debate about whether or not 4 GB of RAM was sufficient verses a memory management issue because of the way adaptive battery mangement was configured. It was never about it being non-existent. Depending on how someone used their device they may or may not have noticed it.

The camera capture issue like many issues on many devices did not impact all users. In some cases I think it's fair to say that even if it did impact someone they may not have noticed.

Hope that clarifies things and I think it's a good thing that Google tries to fix things when practical. I wish that they had caught some of these issues prior to release but sometimes that's how it goes.

I think he's saying it was never a issue for him .

You have the patience to wait and not sideload

There will be instances some months where crappy T-Mobile takes more time to approve/certify before Google can push the updates. Good that it was only one day delay this time.
Got my update today - I am with T-Mobile.

Lol...how's your pixel treating you ? Any issues?

It's great! No issues to speak of just yet! Sometimes my fingerprints don't always register but I work with young children and so my fingers are probably dirty or a little greasy.

Can kinda confirm the memory management isn't as aggressive as before. Was able to go back to an opened game (Mobile Legends), after quickly taking a photo.

My Gear S3 doesn't disconnect every time I take a photo now, so I'm happy. That's all I really wanted fixed.

I thought they were supposed to fix the AOD screen flashing issue in this update. Guess not.
