Yeah I'd gladly wait longer for a more stable update. Good thing I didn't have time to sideload.

Got my update today (Australia). Fingerprint seems a little better.
Though I've noticed tap to wake or when I pick up/flip my phone over sometimes the screen still doesn't wake.

Took a total of 15 minutes for me, I too sideloaded the update, got tired of waiting.

Pixel 6 December update now no connection to network, did factory reset and tried two sims O2/3UK which work ok in pixel 4,
It’s a Wi-Fi only device for now, hoping it’s a software problem?.

I like a little action , if worse case I can revert back to previous firmware lol.

Just side loaded it. Wasn't too bad for my first time.

It fixed the fingerprint authentication problem but then I am connected to trusted devices most of the time. It does work better than before

For sure I'm so use to Samsung although once you get the hang of it Google seems easier since there are less model variations and you can grab the file directly from Google. I do like that both tend to be fool proof if you follow directions lol.
