Glad to see this one on the notes:

"Fix for issue occasionally preventing "tap to wake" or "lift to wake" from working in certain conditions *[1]"

Though I almost feel like what I'm seeing is more of a bug in waking up the display. When it happens, if I press the power button, the screen doesn't come on, but if I press it again, it does, which makes me think the first press tells the screen to turn off, then the second press turns it back on.

Yeah it took quite a while to install. I don't know about anybody else, but the Clear Calling feature was worth every kilobyte of the package it needed. To top it off the VPN is nice to have too. Might be too early for this, but the touch screen response and scrolling seem better as well.

I just keep using my Pixel 7 Pro as the upgrade progresses. It's painless that way and it's upgraded before I know it.

Kate and I absolutely love our Pixel 7 Pro's. If I had known what I know now, I wouldn't have had the hesitance to upgrade. As much as we liked the Pixel 6 Pro, the improvements of the Pixel 7 Pro have been well worth it.

Mine has been installing since 10pm. It's optimizing now. Seems to be about as Slow as always. What do you mean when you say that it failed the first time?
