December Update is out

If you're having bluetooth issues, lots of people, myself included, have had success going into developer options and going back to an earlier version of bluetooth
Interesting ... I will have to look into this. Thanks for the info!!

I had that problem at first but not now. I don't if I did anything to fix it or it worked itself out. I know when I was having the issue I went into Action Launcher gestures and changed the two finger swipe down to recent apps. I know it is weird but it started working after that.
I switched back to action launcher. I I don't force stop pixel launcher home doesn't work. As long as pixel launcher doesn't restart the home gesture works for me. I'd like to try uninstalling updates but honestly can't figure out how

Ran OTA update on wife's OG Pixel, hit reset on my way out the door to work.

2 hours later I get an email: why is my phone stuck on the G

4 hours after that: why is my phone stuck on the G

Thanks Google. Good thing I left my kids OG Pixel XL alone.

Disregard I didn't see this was the Pixel 3 forum and I don't see where to delete the comment

I haven't gotten the update yet. Today my assistant started coming on like I said "ok Google" in the car while listening to podcasts. The thing is, I have assistant turned off and it's done it before.

IDK, new versions and updates are fun but I'm toying with going back to my 6T for awhile. OnePlus still has the best software experience in my opinion and killer battery life to boot.

The camera is what brought me back to the pixel 3 xl. Otherwise, yes, not much here. I wished my Note 10+ doesn't blur the heck out of my constant moving kids indoors. Otherwise, it's a beast of a phone. And feels so so much more premium. That HUGE screen is killer. But taking good pictures of my moving kids is my top priority.

Hoping Samsung fixes this problem in there Note 11 camera. Rumors are big camera revamp is coming.

I had the same issue with my Note 10+. I'm back on my Pixel 3 XL right now. I did download the Gcam port to my Note. It greatly improved my picture quality. Blurring was almost non existent too.

Was not easy getting back on the Pixel 3 xl. It kills me to put it on sale but have to do that and planning on doing so this weekend. Going to miss so many things about the Note 10. I'll be back. I hope the camera improvements Samsung is planning for next year fixes my only issue. Until then, I'll be using the pixel 3 XL. no interest in the pixel 4 at all. Not worth it. Only paid $360 for a MINT 3 XL. can't beat that for a good flagship phone hehehe.

Google Fi, Pixel 3, purchased from Google. No update. Wonder what the issue is?

What is also interesting on a different topic. Someone mentioned that google now had a Recorder for the Pixel 4 but it was also available for the 3. I went to the Playstore on the phone. Not such item under Recorder or Google. Went on the desktop - there it was. I said "install" and it was installed to the phone.

I just checked my phone and still no updates for me either as of 4:40PM EST. Was a bit hopeful when the spinning circle took a while, but then it showed "Your system is up to date" again. Arghhh!
I have Pixel 3 on Google Fi, btw. Though it doesn't seem to matter in this case.

So, my Bluetooth issues weren't resolved by rolling back versions in developer settings as suggested in this thread (appreciate the suggestion). So I opted to do a factory reset and try my luck ... BUT before I did I removed my T-Mobile SIM card. Once I got through the initial setup (still with SIM card removed) I checked for update and there it was Coincidence?? Find that hard to believe ... Why would my T-Mobile SIM be holding up an update on my unlocked Pixel 3 purchased directly from Google??

I'll try removing my SIM tonight and try. Also TMobile here.

Not sure it will make a difference. Many folks on Google FI also didn't get the update. But Fi does indeed use TMobile network. So it's interesting. I'll report back later tonight.

So my pixel 3 is a Google Fi and have not been able to get the update. I just put my vzw sim in and low and behold I got the update. Downloading now.
