Decided to come back....

I had the Z Fold 3 and 4 and skipped the 5. So, for the last couple of years, I've been using the S23 Ultra and then this year, the S24 Ultra. Today, after seeing the Z Fold 6 at Best Buy, I decided to make the jump back to the Fold family.

I hope I will not be disappointed with the battery and the cameras! Anyone came from the S24 Ultra?

I have the Fold 6 and S24u currently.
Battery life you should get a day easy but depends what you do with it , same I can say for the s24u but it will give more SOT

I've noticed my battery improved on the ZF 6 now that it has learned a little bit of my habits.. Plus I think I'm using it more to the normal daily. I will say that I turned off AOD and that in itself helped increase battery. I really don't need any of my phones to have AOD on and I see all my notifications coming in when needed..

Thanks! I mostly use the cover screen when I had the Fold 4 and only used the bigger inner screen for browsing from time to time or when I need to edit a doc really quickly. I put in my order with Samsung today since they're offering the same promotions as when it first came out. Hoping to get it this Thursday.

Using outer screen more than before
More screen estate. Makes it easier to type
Love the square look n feel
Lighter weight is great
Smaller hinge make it, easier to hold
It's a perfect fold,
Phone will definitely need a bigger battery and faster charging next year
I don't think people should compare chinese foldable with Samsung ,
Samsung is ahead in software and hardware and even support
Chinese phones have less support
Parts also not easily available

Yeah I think the little bit larger front screen and itsquared off makes the front screen perfect. We don't need bigger, we have it when opened.

I've had the fold 6 for a few days now and I do love it. The front cover screen is definitely wider than my fold 4 and it's so much easier to type on it. It also helps that it's much lighter and thinner too.

I came from S24 ultra. I wish the Fold6 had the S24 ultras cameras ngl... but i think theyre afraid if they give the F6 a bigger battery & the best cameras that itll eat into the s24 ultra's sales too much. Its just that for 2k... come on, it shld be a top of the line phone. Its annoying, esp when u think about Samsung being a billion dollar company... yet we cant get a bigger battery, better cameras, front screen just a lil wider, no IR blaster... like if youre not going to put in the top of the line stuff dont charge a totl price. F6 should be like 1499.

Anyway despite my bitching im glad i got it. The S24U is an amazing phone, but F6 is pretty badass - design is better, little tweaks have made the software better, and i love that unlike the s24u theres no compromise on size. With those slab phones its like, we want them big enough to watch video & consume & edit media.. but we still want it to fit in our hand ans not need 2 hands to use it, & those 2 goals are diametrically opposed.

But the Fold6 - wanna compact one-hander phone u can pull out & use while your other hand is carrying something? It can do that. Want to watch a movie and get lost in it, not squint at a tiny screen? Unfold your device and we gotchu

This is why people need to stop asking for bigger front screen. The front screen is designed for one handed use and it's perfect now. We get best of both words with the fold 6.

It's Nice to want the front screen wide but then you miss out on the foldable experience

Don't worry Samsung will get the front to being the same size as the S24U. They'll get tired of the crying about people wanting bigger getting screen.

It does not need to be that wide lol but you can successfully have a better working front that does not need to be only quick action stuff along with the inside as productive. Why not have the best of both and keep moving this device series forward

Until Samsung adds a slot for the S Pen in the Fold line, I'm staying with the S Ultra model. That's more important to me than wide screen on Fold.

Totally understandable, I don’t use it enough to miss it and have the non Bluetooth s pen case to mess with a little but I think they can accomplish it a normal s pen with the phone. There’s still stuff to improve including cameras on par with Note series
