Dedicated Screenshot Button?

Coming from LG V20 one thing I really liked was the ability to have a dedicated screenshot button. I could place it in the navigation bar at the bottom or have it in my pull down menu. Is this something I can do on my Note 8?

Not a big deal but I take a lot of screenshots and not having to push volume down and power everytime would save undue wear and tear on those buttons.

Why not just use Palm Swipe To Capture? Quick and easy!

Not that I've seen but you can hit the bixby button and say "take screen shot". I've actually been using that. There's also an edge app "soft key edge" that has a screen shot function. So swipe for your edge panel and hit the screen shot button.

I always just use the power button and volume down at the same time. Two buttons, one press, dedicated buttons for screenshot. I used to Palm swipe but half the time it slides whatever I'm trying to capture off to the side.

I just hold the Bixby button and say take a screenshot.

Slide to open the apps edge then select the settings button. You can access all the edge apps that way. Some are free, so aren't.

Hit the download button up top of edge settings to scroll thru the apps

Thanks to your post, I thought I'd give the Softkey Edge panel a try. Love it! It's much easier for a screenshot than trying to hold two buttons at once or swiping. AND on top of that, I've hidden my main soft keys at the bottom since I now have this side panel.

Np yes I love it. It is definitely easier. I still have mine at the bottom. Only because it's a habit to go down there lol. Its like one time I'll use the edge one then I catch myself using the ones at bottom lol. I kind of like having both options available at same time. But I see why you wouldn't
