Default Apps keep resetting

Hi All,

I believe this has been happening ever since I upgraded to android 10. Basically, every time I update all apps in the play store, anything i set as a default app from before is reset. So i have to choose the instagram app to open instagram links, same with twitter etc all over again.

I have a pixel 3.

Please Help!

Do you have any 3rd party security apps installed?

Go into settings in the top search bar type reset , then choose reset app preferences see if that helps

i have malware bytes but ive never had an issue with it before

yeah i did, didn't seem to make a difference

only thing I can suggest is factory reset

Yeah, just make sure everything backed up
