Default Launcher not being remembered?

Running rooted Thunderbolt, I've installed OpenHome 6, Go Launcher, ADW and I also have the default HTC Sense launcher, I've installed and tried every Home/Launcher Switcher in the Market, but none of them will "remember" the chosen default launcher I chose, even after I've cleared the default launcher, then checked the box to remember that as my default launcher when choosing a new default. Even after doing so, I still get asked over and over which launcher to use when I press the Home button from any app, and often times when using the back arrow key to exit an app. Also, half the time if I'm not actually asked which one ot use when exiting an app, I'll still get the "waiting" dialog while the default launcher takes time to load, as if it's being reloaded all over again. Anyone ever run into this issue?

Could be an issue with one of the launchers not clearing defaults right, I would try removing one at a time to trouble shoot which one is causing this issue. Just back each one up so you don't lose anything.
