Delayed Gmail notifications fix?

I know we went over lot of things awhile back but make sure no antivirus ,ad blockers,VPN ,power save, DND, digital wellbeing is in use

Yea, none of these are on my phone. I just don't understand how some apps like Aqua Mail Pro get instant notifications while most others don't.

Yeah it is strange especially a lot of things we went over awhile back one of them should of fixed the issue, you using 3rd party launcher?

That's strange because I use Samsung email, and I get Gmail notifications at the same time that new emails show up in desktop Chrome on Windows PC.

This problem has been going on for years with Android and there is no fix. Download Aqua Mail and your Gmail notifications will come in right away.

Yep this problem is as old as time itself.... at this stage it's pretty obvious Google has no plans to do anything about it. You either live with it or use another email service. I use Gmail... I just check it regularly, especially if I'm expecting something important.

Its nice to see though that Google's focusing on making sure the important features are working properly

try using the stock samsung email app. when i have had issues with gmail, i've used the samsung app and emails would still come through pretty quickly. i'm sure it s a gmail thing since i am also on at&t and run into that issue from time to time

It's much more than just a Gmail thing. Apps like eBay, PayPal, Banking ETC all have delayed notifications until you actually turn on the screen.

i don't have any of those issues. all my notifications show on the lock screen, i use ebay quiet a bit, and i always get the correct notification when its supposed to come through

I thought the same and often it seemed true. My notifications vibrate or sound, but I don't display them on my lock screen. So my setup is a bit different than yours. Then I started thinking it was happening because some app was waking up the phone to do something and that would allow notifications through. So yes, I also sometimes get notifications in a seemingly normal way but still have the issue. I think this because often when I wake up the phone and screen comes on, a bunch of notifications come through right then. Sometimes those are Gmail notifications that I have seen an hour earlier on my computer so I know the Gmail notification should have come through to my phone much sooner. Some notifications, like those from my security camera, seem to always wake up the phone and get delivered. When that happens, other notifications like Gmail will come though at the same time. Otherwise those piggybacked notifications will wait, undelivered, until the next time I wake up the phone.

Double check under lock screen there are new menus there and also if you use edge panel take any apps there out for testing

Tried that still seems like S email app ONLY shows my samsung contacts and NOT GOOGLE ones.

Not new ones from Google I say most not sync are maybe two years old or older I keep playing with settings.

Maybe try signing out your Google account then back in ?

Now checking the Samsung s22 contact APP all my GOOGLE contacts are there.However again its the Samsung Email app not connecting with them.If that makes sense.
I see all my google contacts via Samsung contact APP.

You did mention your using Gmail from Samsung email app ? If so I'm not sure from there as I use Gmail standalone app

Yes the samsung APP setup for Gmail.
