How you running batch fileYou know a lot more than me about this stuff, so maybe. I just wonder if it was not Doze, why would running that batch file fix it?

You can take it out of doze like i shown , i never disabled doze with adb command and come through, how you explain this one?
Ok good but test this longer and reboot your device and double check if still set as unrestrictedI have my Gmail on unrestricted. FWIW, I have been paying attention this morning and I do not think I am having delayed notifications on this new S22.

Ok lets see what happens in a day or two.I just rebooted this morning and it stayed on unrestricted. And the Gmail notification that you quoted me came through immediately. But even though the phone screen had timed out, I am not sure if the phone had time to doze or not as I do not know how long the phone is idle before it might go into doze.
How you running batch file
Ahh gotcha , yeah CMD on computer. On my Pixel, I just plugged in the phone and double clicked the batch file on my desktop and it runs. On the S22, I have not run it as I have not been paying attention to whether it is needed. As I pointed out, I am not even sure I have any delayed notifications on thei S22. I just got into this thread earlier to let the original poster know what I used to do for my Pixel where I definitely did have delays.
over 5 minutes. It won't go into toes if you're charging it either.how long the phone is idle before it might go into doze.
Did you get a new Sim card with each phone? I've had a few people tell me that getting a new Sim card fixed the problem.
It's doze alright... I have shut off all battery usage limitations (all apps in Never Sleeping) and it still does it. The only way that I get instant notifications is to use the ADB command... I'm used to just running it on a re-boot...I don't think it's doze I have it under battery optimize and they come in right away TMO or Att I have a feeling something on your guys end Possible any 3rd party application installed like AOD notify or similar that people use View attachment 343680
Like I mentioned I have that app optimize doze kicks in and get notifications, look for something differentIt's doze alright... You willing to try factory reset and only install Gmail? It's doze alright... I have shut off all battery usage limitations (all apps in Never Sleeping) and it still does it. The only way that I get instant notifications is to use the ADB command... I'm used to just running it on a re-boot...

Ok , so anyone willing to try some these things let me knowNO!, I receive my Gmail through Outlook, I have never used the app

Just with Gmail installed no other apps besides native?I've already done that several times. No luck.
I know we went over lot of things awhile back but make sure no antivirus ,ad blockers,VPN ,power save, DND, digital wellbeing is in useI'm on Verizon and have this problem. Have the iPhone 13PM and the S22 Ultra sitting side by side (both on Verizon) and get instant notifications on the iPhone while the S22 Ultra is dead to the world until I turn on the screen. Not only Gmail, apps like eBay, PayPal and banking apps are also stone dead until I turn on the screen.
