Delete Button on Android

Is there a way to create a delete button similar to the computer keyboard DEL key?

There's no way to create that in a keyboard app -- you'd have to find a keyboard app that already has a Del key. The only one I'm aware of is Hacker's Keyboard, but that might be a little unwieldy.

The problem is that's the Backspace, not the traditional Delete key on a keyboard (which deletes the character to the right of the cursor, not the left).

True , but I haven't seen a Andriod keyboard to delete.

You can use the space bar as a cursor highlight the words or letter and choose undo or X

The Hacker's Keyboard app I mentioned above has a Del key, but I think it takes a couple of steps to get to.
