Each scan adds devices (lots of devices if you do this in the airport). I now have so many devices that I a simple connection now takes 10 minutes, just trying to find the right "SYNC", or "MyCar", or Sonata, etc, and I also add any other device within scan distance (lots at the airport). My list length is getting horrendous.

There is no apparent method to delete this list.
Both in the Bluetooth screens, and even if you attempt "application Mangager - All Devices - Bluetooth Share - Clear Data or Clear Cache.

So this "list must exist somewhere on the phone", does anybody know where it is and how to access, will jailbreak if necessary.
Samsung confirm that there is no delete option.:(

I assume you're talking about the list of Available devices. That will clear after a restart of your Note 2. You can delete devices listed under Paired devices by hitting the individual settings/gear icon to the right of the device, and then selecting Unpair. That unpaired device then go into the list of Available devices and, as I indicated, will be cleared after the next time you restart).

why do you keep scanning? The only time I ever use the scan feature is when attempting to join a new device. If you want to connect to a device thst has been connected to before just click on that device in the area where your previosly paired devices are. You should connect straight away.

Thank you for the tip, JasW. I have taken to only renting cars that have Bluetooth. Consequently, my phone had a bunch of "MyCar" entries under Paired devices. I unpaired those, restarted the phone and voila, gone. I'll make a mental note to unpair a rental car when I return it.

I have a Note 3, and restarting the phone does not clear the list, unfortunately. I need to clear my list, or hand pick which devices are not available anymore.

Any update to this at all?

I can't seem to every really delete devices - long after I've lost a device it stays listed and even I delete it it just goes to the available device list. (Note II Android 4.3)

I also cant delete the devices in my list. Also after using my bluetooth speaker, all the sudden my phone scans but now wont find my speaker. Yes its charged. Any suggestions, anyone? Im sick about it, as this is my favorite Jawbone speaker! HELP! Samsung Gallaxy Note Ii. Also there is no options to the rt to delete unused devices.
