Delete person from people widget?

Anybody know how to delete a person from the HTC People Widget? I can delete the widget but the people are still there if I add it back.

go to "People", slide to favorites (the next icon over) hold on the contact you want to get rid of till the pop up menu appears and hit 'remove from favorites'

Thanks. It seems there is a bit of delay for that list to get posted. I see that it is there this morning. I did go to the contact person and click remove from favorites list last night. When I awoke this morning the person was gone and the list was showing under favorites. Thanks for the quick reply.
