I have a Motorola Moto X pure Edition purchased in 2015. I accidentally clicked on the photo without opening the album and deleted it. I lost the whole album instead of just the one photo I wanted to delete. Can anyone help me recover the album. I've searched and I don't see any trash to open and recover.

There isn't a trash on Android, once deleted it's deleted. You don't back your photos up on Google? They provide free photo back ups.

Isn't it stored somewhere in the phone even if deleted. I thought recovery software can find things even deleted. How do the feds and police recover stuff from phones and computers?

Welcome to Android Central! Did you delete an entire directory from Internal Storage? That requires the phone to be rooted, and you have to use special software -- even then, there's no guarantee you'll recover everything: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...os/500142-guide-recovering-deleted-files.html. It might be a little easier if the photos were saved on the SD card.

There certainly are forensic data recovery specialists, and they're available to the public as well -- as long as you have a few thousand bucks lying around. They're not cheap.

I like your casual use of "a few" for $10,000 or more. Some recoveries will cost more than a truckload of phones. And no guarantee that some of the pictures haven't already been overwritten. So much work to save a few minutes backing up.

They will still there until you overwrite them. Don't save any more pics, google file recovery as there are programs you can download to your computer, plug the phone in and they should be able get those pics back. Just don't save any more as they will overwrite the ones you want to recover
