Deleted Calendar app

OK, noob here.

I was so excited that I finally rooted my HTC EVO 4G that I accidentally deleted an app that allowed the Google calendar to sync with my google account. I fatefully decided to delete the whole program and to my dismay I can't find it anywhere. I have downloaded the Google business calendar but it also won't sync.
When I go to 'Accounts & Sync' the google account says 'Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly' but I know it's my own fault.

Is there a way to restore the original Google 'red' calendar?

BTW, I backed everything up using My Backup Pro and Titanium but I haven't been able to restore the working 'sync' functions.

Is there a way to start from the beginning with my phone that will reload all the programs it initially came with?

I would really like to find a 'workaround' so I can get the calendar working again. It still works fine on my laptop.

Try reflashing ROM. Also try HTC hub

Would I reflash the original ROM from HTC? Does a ROM contain all the preloaded apps that I can't find? Would that also fix the fact the calendar won't sync? Would the syncing function be a driver? Maybe reload HTC drivers (if so, how)?

I would appreciate any step by step instructions you could give in how to try to solve the problem.

I have already done a Factory Data Reset and that hasn't helped. I've also done a clockwork backup but unfortunately it was after my deletion.

I wish there was a way I could reload everything (preloaded apps included) to the way it was when I turned it on. I would rebuild it after that.

Thanks for helping. I really need to get a calendar working (syncing with google). I downloaded Google Biz calendar but that didn't sync.
