Deleted Gallery

I went to look at the pics that i had taken with my Thunderbolt and the entire gallery is gone...every pic ive ever taken with the Thunderbolt..GONE! How can i get them back???? Please HELP

Try Reboot (Power | Restart) - forces the phone to re-read the SD card. Try going into the Gallery app and select Menu | Hide/Unhide and make sure your camera pics are not "hidden".

If that fails, power off phone, open back and remove SD card. Re-insert SD card. Power up. Look again.

I just tried that and it didnt work, I did plug it in to my comp and was able to see them on the SD card but cant view them in my gallery and they are not hidden either.

Are you unplugging your device from your PC before you try viewing the pictures???

Check the DCIM folder on your SD card, all the photo's will be there.

Do you have music on your SD Card... and can your device see any of that music??? Or anything else.... go into Settings > SD & phone storage > does it see your SD card???

I figured it out, what i did was plug the phone in to the computer and copied the pics and put them on to my desktop, then opened the 100MEDIA folder on my phone and pasted them all back in there. Kinda weird why it did that but at least its fixed now! Thanks guys!!
