deleted pictures added to pictures folder

Hello all,

Found a really strange thing.
I sent a picture message. when I delete the picture from the gallery, it deletes the picture from the camera folder, but then adds the picture into a picture folder.

I have not been able to find a setting to turn this off, or a reason why it does it.

Anyone else know about this ?

Has anyone tried to duplicate this ? I have asked Samsung support about this, will post if any answers.

What's the exact name of the /Pictures subdirectory that the photo saves to?

Which messaging app -- the stock one? Are you using the messaging app to take the photo, or are you using the Camera app to take the photo, then sharing or attaching that photo in a message?

The pictures are pretty random. It a mixture of pictures from camera and downloads. Which I done various things with, reddit, discord memento database, drive, or just moving to another folder. I use Verizon Messager though.

I wonder if it's a Messages+ bug. Can you try using the stock SMS app, or maybe Google Messages, and see if the same thing happens with those apps?
