deleteing email account on Epic?

I can't figure out how to delete an account which I added erroneously. Actually, I would only want to change the username .. but that seems greyed out as well. So either change an email username or delete an email account .. I can't seem to do either one.

Go to the Accounts summary (the one that lists all accounts), tap and hold on the account you want to remove, and then just choose 'remove account'. This is assuming your using the Samsung Email program and not the Gmail one.

Is this account the gmail account you set up for the phone when you first got it?

Gmail has a separate app for it. Instead of clicking the Email icon, hit Applications, and locate the one called Gmail.

Hope that helps.

I myself had things confused because of this separate app, so I ended up setting it up twice, once in the Gmail app and once in my regular Email app.

Yea, that's the same thing I did. I was hoping to remove it from the email app itself.
