So what I mean is this:
1. you go to the market store
2. hit menu button
3. then go to "my apps"
4. from there you can uninstall an app.

once uninstalled it still shows up under my apps and therfore will always install when i factory reset the phone or change phones etc.

and idea how to get an app out of my apps permanently?

Thanks!

Assuming that it is not a stock/built-in app, uninstalling should remove it. Have you tried uninstalling directly from the phone?

If it is a stock app, you may need to root.

It does uninstall it. Everytime I go to my apps though it still shows it there with the option to reinstall it. I just want it off the list period!!!! ha.

This happened to me with two apps. I uninstalled them from Settings->Applications and that took care of the issue.

wait...it didn't work!
can you be more precise on where to go to delete the programs showing up that are not installed?
