Deleting Emails +

I am assuming that deleting emails only deletes them from the phone not the server? And that there isn't a choice offered (as on my Blackberry Storm)?

you can go into your email settings per account and choose to either keep on the server or delete from the server.

I would have to double check, but I have not even really looked for deletion of e-mails options.

Only issue I have with e-mail is that I think I have it all set for gmail NOT to check automatically (and it's like that for one account and works as it should), but the other account is obviously checking it (or the e-mails are being pushed to it) cause I get notified of new mails under that account without manually checking the mail.....

On my evo it is just hit the menu button and select delete without going into thr messages

I think there's 2 different email apps being discussed here. The Samsung Email app, which does have the delete settings, and Gmail app, which does not.

If you want more advanced options you could always use K9 instead of either app.

ah gotcha, I was thinking the GMail app. It's all good now
