Deleting Home Screens?

My Galaxy S3 (AT&T) came with 7 home screens that I can move between (new to android from Blackberry. Maybe each isn't called a home screen)...is there a way I can delete some of those screens because most of them came with apps I don't want to use so once deleted I have blank pages. No reason for that.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Deleting Home Screens

Not sure exactly how this would be done on an S III. On my Prime, if I hit Home twice it brings up all my screens, and, I can drag them to the trash like you would to uninstall an app, or, remove an icon.

However, I am using a custom launcher. I am using Nova on my Prime and Holo on my X2 (until I get around to something else). I was able to do this in both. I would think you could do it right out of the box though. Are you running a launcher or no?

Re: Deleting Home Screens

To delete the home screens do the following:
-Grab the screen with two fingers in opposite corners
-Pinch to the center
-All home screens should be visible on one screen now
-long press a screen you don't want, and drag it down to the trash can at the bottom
-If you want to add screens back, press the + symbol
