Deleting old bluetooth headsets?

I've used 3 different bluetooth headsets that I do not use anymore. I'd like to delete from my phone but the only option I seem to have is to pair our unpair them not delete from the phone itself. Did I miss something or do they have to stay on my phone indefinitely? Thank you for ur time.

Unpairing is the same thing as deleting for Bluetooth devices.
