OMG, You are a complete life saver. I have been trying everything and no one had the answer! You are so totally awesome. Thank you so much even though you didn't know you helped someone out like me tremendously in more way then one, for instance, I was trying to free up space on my phone because it kept telling me "insignificant storage" or "Memory". I literally tried everything from searching the web to "Factory data Reset" and nothing was working! When I reset to original factory settings, the photos doubled in size. I was like what the hell is going on! Like literally, it was at around 170 photos and after I restored my phone it said around 270 photos and I just was in awe about this. Sorry for rambling, this is just my way of sincerely thanking you for giving this valuable info that I know so many of us now need because of the same exact problem I was having. So thank you lol

I tried this on my samsung galaxy s4 but it says if I remove my google account It will also delete all of its messages, contacts, and other data from the device. I didn't continue as it might delete all my contacts. What should I do? Thank you so much!

I still cant delete photos from auto backup. I have done everything I can, and it wont take me to the albums, so I can choose which ones to delete from my phone.

Remove account from your mobile, and it automatically delete you auto-backup album...and you can manage all the photos from the web.

and if you want re-activated your account on your mobile, and do not use auto-sync on your settings :)

Deleting 1 photo from Google+ was more difficult that grasping Quantum Mechanics. Google is making me hate them which will result in me switching e-mail, home page and everything else I can think of. They know way too much about me and I didn't realize it.

How can I do this? There are photos there I no longer want

Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Okay so press your settings button, go to system settings, click on apps, click on your gallery, scroll down, then click clear data. It will delete your backup photos and none of the other albums. Good luck :)
