Using voice I managed to get directions to three mistakes before getting directions to right location. Still have all distinations showing even though three are incorrect. Would like to delete these destinations or all previous destinations but don't know how to do this? TIA

Only way I've ever been able to do it is uninstall and reinstall. Thats one thing I don't like about several of the google apps including the play store is that there isn't any option that ive seen to clear history, etc. from the apps

Pardon my question for such a simple procedure, but which "settings" are you referring to? On my SG Note 2 my settings take me to a list that includes "Application Manager" which takes me to Downloaded Apps. I can't get to anything similar to your list. I just bought this phone in mid-December (used my Nokia for over 7 years until this one) so I'm wondering if there has been a software update that makes your list dated. No offense intended. Thanks for any help you, or anyone else, may provide.

When in the Application Manager screen, drag the screen from right to left to get to 'Running', then again to 'All'. Maps is not in the 'Downloaded' list because it is in the OS, not downloaded. You will fine 'Maps' in the All list alphabetically.

The above doesn't work for HTC EVO 4G LTE.....there is no "Applications - Manage" and if I go into cache I can only delete ALL destinations. Like the original poster I only want to selectively delete an erroneous entry. I'm beginning to hate Google Maps Navigation (Beta) which comes loaded on this phone

Hi TranmereRover,

Thank you very much for clean. This website is best and help. I am Deaf born. I am very happy. Please next time any problem so help me.
bye. :)

Open Maps, options, My Places, swipe right to left to get to Recent, long-press a destination, delete, ok.

Thanks Groid,
I've used Google maps since they first introduced it on Android.
And I never thought to swipe the My Places box.
I learn something new everyday thanks to the user's on forums like this.

Thanks again

I found the maps history, then tapped on the (X) cross beside the unwanted entry, you'll get a dropdown to delete, DELETE same.. You can then delete one by one of the entries that you do not want to keep ~~~ Tooooooo, EASY....

to delete a destinationfirst go to maps go to the left bottom off the map tap on to the three lines tap on to settings go map history then go to to the navigation history and delete the ones you don't want

If you have a Galaxy s4....Go to Maps... Menu (lower left icon on case).... Settings....Maps History....scroll list to location to delete and click on X and then Delete
