deleting remnants from uninstalled apps

Hi there,

Still and Android newbie in my own eyes .. I tried and uninstalled Handcent awhile back. I found a folder for it when browsing in Astro. Is it ok to just delete the folder and/or other references to uninstalled apps that leave remnants behind? Thanks!

I think most programs leave those remnants around on the SD card in case you want to fire it back up. Pretty much any of them are safe to delete.

Also when deleting apps, choose clear data as well.
