Delivery date question.

Soooo... The Samsung website says delivery "no later" than Aug 11. I seem to remember last year that my Flip 4 came about a day early. Depending on the actual day I may not be home (frown). What happens if you are not home to sign for the shipment? I did request that a signature be required. Does FedEx just try again the next day or what? And what are the odds of it coming early? I will be home on the 11th but I am afraid it will come earlier.

I'm not mistaken once you get a tracking number you can go into FedEx and choose for a later delivery...

Also when you check out. Samsung offers the option to require someone to sign for package, If you didn't click on that option. Then no sig will be required for delivery.

Oh but I did check signature required. I figured I didn't want it sitting on the porch if no one was home. If this means FedEx has to redeliver then so be it. At least my phone will be safe.

What has been your experience with pre-order delivery dates? On the day listed (Aug 11) or has it come a day or two earlier in your experience?

I received my Note 20 Ultra 2 days before the release date & my s22 Ultra 3 days before its release date.

I did not notice the signature required box on my or my husband's current order.
So now I'll be worried about that.

FedEx is so unpredictable … I’ve had expensive devices delivered that require a signature left on the porch…

My delivery date says by Aug 11. I'm figuring it could be anywhere from Aug 1 till the 11th. I just checked my order this morning and it's status changed to Processing. I think the next status will be shipped.

When I am waiting for a package and find out that I won't be home, I go to the FedEx website by clicking on my tracking number and then select delivery to an alternate drop location. Fortunately, one of the FedEx drop points is my local Walgreen's drug store so I just go pick it up there when I get home.

It will also depend on how Samsung sets the delivery... I know I've seen some deliveries come to the house where I wasn't able to do any adjusting with the options...

I am guessing the ship date of Aug 4th ( Friday ) in Ohio by Aug 7th or 8th depending on where it ships from
most have come from TX but I have had one or two come from IL.

Where are you getting a ship date of Aug 4? When I ordered it all I got was "by Aug 11" which doesn't tell you when it's expected to ship. I am in Ohio if that makes a difference.

Mine has been "Label Generated" for several days now. It says on mine ship by Aug 12. That hadn't better be send my trade by then since the phone is supposed to delivered by Aug 11. My guess is the ship by Aug 12 refers to when the label is sent?

Isn't it supposed to be a 15 day return window? That would mean if you get on the 4th, should be at least 8/19. If 8/17, that would make it well, today that you are receiving it.

I just got my FedEx notice that delivery by the 8th of August. I'm not doing a trade in. I'm in the USA.
