Demo units at best buy !!!

Good for you - I checked one at Best Buy only because I've never had a Note before - was surprised at how comfy it was to hold - much like a delicate pastry that you can't eat.

You will not be disappointed - trust - I'm old - I know stuff - :D

Great analogy with that pastry😉

I started with N3 and have upgraded every single year. Somehow this year is the first year I pre-ordered, and I didn't go check it out beforehand. I'm getting old, and I'm learning stuff 😊

It's been few days since I last dropped by best buy. Most likely will stop by tomorrow to check out again.

Yeah we have a problem

And another one. I wanna be awed when I unbox mine. First time I haven't gone and checked out the new Note.

I haven't ever gone and seen the demos before note release. I want to keep that 1st time opening a new toy feeling lol. But I am very tempted this time. But I'm going to fight it lol.

Don't get me wrong. I still got a problem. I'm just on tech control meds tight now.

Well, it sounds like we're actually agreeing on most of it... As I said, the screen was impressive, camera is a nice upgrade, but the daily use experience doesn't seem that different from the Note 8... I'm not seeing much to get overly excited about it...

I guess it's the perspective... for me, the note8 is technically my first Note device. And after using it for 2 years I feel really excited to get the Note10+. I wasn't impressed with the Note9 aside from storage options. Ironically, note8 to note9 is incremental, note9 to note10 (+), is incremental, but note8 to note10 is pretty significant. The bigger screen, the RAM, the storage options, the memory speed, the dual speakers, the upgraded SPen, upgraded camera features, upgraded Dex (I'll finally be able to take advantage of it for work), faster charging, power share... all have me very excited to use it on a daily basis! And at the same time, I wouldn't want something too drastic that would change my daily work flow and use of it that would require a big learning curve that could potentially make me not want to use it.

I went back to BestBuy on my way back into my office and played with both of them for a while again. I'm considering picking up a regular unlocked Note10, later in the year, as a backup device.

This is the 1st time i have to went to see it as well. I been so tempted to go to best buy or tmobile but have not. 1 more week i can do this. 1st time not having a black phone in 5 years.

Note 10 Plus is about the same size as Note 9. Just a little thinner.

I think a lot of people are just reading about the bigger screen size and making assumptions about the dimensions. It's ever so slightly bigger. I have a case for the N10+at home and it's nearly the same exterior dimensions as my current case. And my N9 fits almost as sing m snug in the N10+ can as it does in the N9 case.

That said, I was eating lunch and finished with plenty of time to spare. Realized I was in a best buy parking lot so I swung by. First, the Aura Glow is a pretty color, but I still like the Blue much more and even more than the N9 blue. Couldn't really try the SPen's new features. It was disconnected. The matching blue is brilliant I'll miss the yellow color and the contrast with the blue. It's mostly familiar, but the pressure sensible home button was absent. I'm guessing the in screen fps will take it's place. I'm hoping the option to have it there may still be there, but not really a big deal. I only had 10 minutes and a few of those were taken up by a guy who was questioning how large it was and how I'm upgrading from the N9 after I told him it's barely larger than the N9. The rest was spent looking for the home button for the lock screen and trying to connect the SPen. Their display prevents full insertion so it's probably not syncing correctly even though the pen icon was flashing. Regardless, it's a beautiful phone and I'll have plenty of time to figure it out once it's delivered.
