Placed my order for the 32GB model. I really wanted to wait to see if the black would ever come out but the price for the unlocked 32GB was too good to pass up and I can't wait to play with this thing. Absolutely blown away that the 32GB one is $75 cheaper than the 16GB iPhone... This thing is going to sell. I'm also pretty excited that it's $25 cheaper than buying the 32GB from ATT off contract. Save money, it's unlocked.. deals all around.

Exactly what I'm doing as I'm also on AT&T. Added overnight shipping to the order -- still cheaper than buying from AT&T. Plus like you said, unlocked as well, so bring it to any carrier compatible and get faster updates hopefully. No cons to be seen other than if you bought it from At&T and there was something wrong with it, you just go in store to exchange. Oh we'll, I'm sure HTC will treat us well in terms of service.

So about two hours after I preordered mine I get an email from HTC saying I can get free shipping and a free case when I preorder the phone through htc.com. Now I get to sit on hold for another two hours to have that case added to my order. Oh well.. free schwag though.

Don't bother. The guy told me flat out their system is messed up and to call back Monday and they will be able to add that code to the order. I waited 35minutes for a 30 second phone call lol.

Yeah, but when I had to call in they told me it was absolutely shipping the 18th and not to get excited....I'm only a little excited for now.

Yeah I waited on hold for 45 minutes only to be told that I'd have to place a new order and cancel my existing one as they couldn't add it after the fact. If that's what they told you though I'll try again next week and see if they can add it. Not super interested in the case but hey it adds resale value and my wife will probably use it if she ends up getting a One also.

Yikes! Yea I'll be unhappy if I get penalized by giving them $650 too soon. It's $29/$39 case and free shipping.

Luckily I have a friend that doesn't care about phones and has a couple T-Mobile phones around. He actually has a galaxy s2 that's he's not using that I will use until my One gets here. Picking up the phone now and shipping off my nexus 4. "Normal" consumers don't think about reselling like we do lol.

I realize the April 8 delivery isn't going to happen but one thing I noticed on my order is it says free UPS overnight shipping. As I selected 2 day shipping without realizing that would carry over a weekend, would be a nice bonus to get it on the 19th.

I called and got it, as well as the issue where the purchase needed to be validated, cleared up with a phone call.

Just wondering how you got them to ship to a different address - 2 different reps said they couldn't ship anywhere but my billing address.

I'm worried that if I push for the free shipping it will jack up my overnight shipping somehow.

I replied to make sure I was still getting overnight shipping as I paid for it and they confirmed it. I could care less about free ground shipping when overnight was only $18.
