Seriously considering purchasing the phone outright instead of obligating to a new contract with ATT...

Wondering how I obtain a SIM card and subsequently shift my number from my existing phone to a new One? Coming from an iPhone 4 I have no SIM to shift.

Other than the lack of OTA OS updates, what limitations are there on a dev handset? I realize there is no warranty at an ATT store but not really concerned with this.

I read on the HTC site that "With an unlocked bootloader, some content on your device may also be invalidated and cannot be accessed anymore because of invalid DRM security keys." What are real-world implications of this other than carrier specific software?

I'm sure there are a ton if other questions that would apply- I'm just too ignorant at this point to know what I don't know...

If you're coming from an AT&T iPhone the you do have a sim to transfer. If you're new to AT&T just ask them for one.

I am ignorant- I am not new to ATT; I currently have an iPhone 4 with them but I was under the impression that the micro-SIM in the iPhone was different that what the One used. Did I misunderstand this?? I guess I should stop into the ATT store to ask what I'd need to do with a new, slick device.

Still curious about other "issues" that could lurk with a dev handset.
