Hey Guys.
The power button is just switching between screen on/off. I can press the button as long as I like, the phone won't shut off. A combination with Volume Down brings no results as well. Touchscreen is not reacting.
This is the 2nd issue like this in 3 weeks. Both times it began when I removed the phone from charging.
Due to a non-removable battery (what fully insane engineer came up with that crappy idea?) I had to let the battery drain by itself what cost me 3 days without a phone because you cannot do anything to drain the battery faster. Is there no way to reset the phone other than by this useless power button?
Had an old iphone 2 before - it never had been frozen and the buttons worked after years absolutely reliable. But to be fair... it sounds more like an Android problem.
If only rebooting by powercycling would be possible... never again I will decide for another phone with non removable battery!
Chris
