Device is not 'Plug and Play'

Hi
So the tablet that i have requires aditional drivers installation for media protocol, those drivers are supported for Windows os ONLY. So any other usb devices that can play media files wont work. Is there any way or app to make device work like normal pnp usb device because i would like to play media files on my tv, thanks.
