Device maintenace won't allow me to go into settings.

When I try to go into Device maintenance starts . I can't close it and when I try to go into settings it immediately goes back to device maintenance. Since I can't get into settings how can I force it not to run? Thanks

Is it your phone or your company's phone. It sounds like someone (your company usually) locked you out of Settings. And there's nothing you can do about it.

Thanks for responding. This is not a company phone , it is a Samsung J7 running VER 7.1 and the carrier is T mobile
