Devoted VZW Gnex user looking for next phone, what would you get?

I bought the LG G2 with the "free" promo, except for hte $30 BS upgrade free, and really dig the phone. I immediately rooted and put on the 4.2.2 Malladus firmware and it's pretty awesome. I'm waiting for CM 10.2 to put out another milestone/stable build to throw that on, but I'm happy with the upgrade from the GNex. I got to keep my unlimited with using the upgrade on another smartphone/not-unlimited on our plan and it's pretty nice not having to worry about switching on 4g on and off everytime I want to access it so it doesn't kill the battery. The battery is ridiculous compared to the Gnex. I don't really need to charge it overnight if I couldn't... overnight it might only eat 2% of battery. the size is a bit large, which was my once concern, and I have a huge palm but smaller fingers  and it's a bit hard to hold all the time. I'm hoping once my case comes in it won't be as slippery in my hand. overall I give it a thumbs up

Without a lot of details got free lg g2 from vzw on cyber Monday. Was happy with old gnex but battery life was not good and primary reason for changing. G2 is physically only slightly larger than gnex but screen is lots bigger and accommodates an extra column of icons. Love the extra real estate, speed and battery life. Using WiFi in spots where gnex did not register a signal. So far signal reception has been good or no different. Keeping it all stock so unsure about hackability options but I have zero regrets.

I couldn't pass up the $150 off promotion on the Moto X and I'm glad I didn't. Volume and speaker phone are welcome improvements over the GNex and battery life is simply incredible. No dropped calls since switching. Best of all, I kept unlimited data.

On the cons, KitKat breaks third party tethering options and I do not yet have root, so I haven't been able to install a proper ad blocker. Making Firefox the default browser and installing Adblock Plus solves the worst of it though. Still I almost wish I'd gone for the DevEd version, although it's available in only one (rather ugly) color scheme.
