Diagnostic test no working screen

[Android Central Question]

My wife's A21S screen isnt working, but I can access the phone and files via a PC. It suffered some slight water damage last weekend, by slight we were out in the rain and the phone was in an inside pocket, so I don't expect much water at all to have got in the phone. When she noticed the screen was frozen, a pinkish colour and lines on it. We immediately powered it down and put it on a radiator.

She likes the phone and it's just had A12, so am trying to see if anything can be done. We have had a quote for around £ 50 to replace the screen, but were warned it might be the motherboard therefore a screen replacement would not resolve the issue.

I just wonder if from a cable PC connection if it is possible to come to any conclusions?

Welcome to Android Central! The fact that you can access the files from the PC via USB connection strongly suggests that the phone itself is still working. If you call the number, does the phone ring?
