Dialer Storage

What happens if i "Clear Data" in this app? Its taking up 50mb of internal memory.

some say it clears sms and some say contacts/email. wtf?

The dialer storage contains two database files. one is a provider database which is small, the other is the sms/mms storage database. You should not be able to clear the data in the dialer storage app, but you should be able to shrink the storage bloat by deleting old sms/mms messages. Your contacts are stored in another app.

My dialer storage data is only at 108kb.
