Dialing from contacts changes lname first to fname first

I use a microsoft exchange server 2007. I store my contact lastname, firstname. Whenever I make a call from contacts the contact is changed to fname, lname. It shows up that way on all devices. I have to go into outlook and access the record, change ln,fn to fn,ln save and then change it back. The control for the field display does not change from lname to fname, it just actually sorts it with fname first.

Anyone else see this? I think my S3 did it too, but i never figured out the cause.
